Flood and Water Damage Drying Service
Fast, Reliable Drying
Our Flood and Water Damage Drying Service is designed to quickly and effectively remove moisture from buildings and prevent further issues like mould growth. We provide comprehensive support-from inspection and problem identification to drying and final disinfection. Our team uses advanced equipment and proven methods to restore the building to its original condition.
Insurance-Approved Water Damage Drying Process
We operate a structured, insurance-focused drying process designed to meet the requirements of insurers, loss adjusters, and property managers. Each stage is fully documented and supported by professional moisture measurements and reporting.
We work closely with experienced loss assessors who support our clients throughout the entire insurance claim process. They act on the policyholder’s behalf, assisting with claim preparation, documentation, and communication with the insurer. This cooperation helps ensure that the claim is handled correctly, efficiently, and that the full scope of damage is properly assessed and presented
Step 1
Professional Inspection & Assessment
All inspections are carried out on site at the location of the water damage. Our technicians perform detailed moisture measurements of walls, floors, and subfloors using calibrated professional meters to accurately determine the extent and category of moisture ingress.
During the inspection, we discuss the incident with the client to establish:
the cause of the damage,
the timeline of events,
and whether the source of water ingress has been identified and permanently repaired.
Where there is any uncertainty regarding the source, we can provide leak detection services to ensure that drying is not commenced prematurely.
Based on the collected data, we determine:
the most appropriate drying methodology,
the type and quantity of equipment required,
estimated drying duration,
and an indicative cost range.
This assessment forms the technical basis for insurance reporting and claim validation.
Step 2
Formal Insurance-Ready Offer & Scope of Works
Following the inspection, we issue a detailed written offer and scope of works. This document includes:
the number and type of drying machines,
the proposed drying method,
estimated drying period,
and a clear, itemised cost breakdown covering labour, equipment hire, and materials.
The documentation is suitable for direct submission to insurance companies and loss adjusters as part of a water damage claim.
Each project is tailored to the specific circumstances of the loss, ensuring transparency, accuracy, and compliance with insurer expectations.
Our workflow follows a clear five-stage structure:
Inspection → Offer → Acceptance → Execution → Disinfection
Step 3
Acceptance & Mobilisation
Upon acceptance of the offer, we proceed immediately with service delivery. All agreed terms are strictly adhered to.
The client is informed of:
the start date,
the work schedule,
and the estimated completion timeframe.
This ensures full transparency and allows insurers and managing agents to maintain control over the claim process.
Step 4
Strip-Out, Drying Works & Ongoing Monitoring
Prior to the commencement of drying, we carry out controlled strip-out works to all affected areas where required. This includes the removal of damaged finishes and materials such as floor coverings, skirting boards, wall linings, insulation, and other moisture-affected elements, strictly limited to the extent necessary for effective drying and insurance compliance.
All unaffected rooms and areas are fully protected using appropriate coverings and temporary barriers to prevent cross-contamination, dust spread, or accidental damage during the works.
All debris and removed materials are responsibly bagged, removed from site, and disposed of in accordance with UK waste management regulations.
Once the property has been suitably prepared, we proceed with the installation of drying equipment. Machines are positioned to ensure safe, efficient, and controlled operation, and all electrical connections and systems are checked prior to commissioning.
Where subfloor insulation or voids have been affected by flooding, we:
create controlled access points where necessary,
install drying pipes connected to air movers and dehumidifiers,
and inject dry air beneath the floor structure to remove trapped moisture.
If walls or surface layers of flooring have been affected, alternative non-invasive drying methods are applied without the need for drilling.
Throughout the drying phase:
regular monitoring visits are conducted,
moisture readings are taken and documented,
equipment configurations are adjusted as required,
and drying progress is recorded for insurance and loss adjuster review.
Completion timelines are determined based on measured moisture reduction and drying performance, ensuring decisions are data-driven and fully documented.
Step 5
Final Disinfection & Odour Neutralisation
Once all readings confirm that moisture levels have returned to acceptable, pre-loss conditions, the drying equipment is removed and the drying phase formally closed.
As a final step, we carry out disinfection using ozone treatment, fogging, or specialist spraying, depending on the type and severity of moisture exposure.
This process:
eliminates bacteria, mould spores, and microorganisms,
neutralises post-flood odours,
and helps return the property to a safe, hygienic condition suitable for reinstatement.
